Two discrete forms provide support for each other, and merge at an observation tower. The leaning tower extends the experience of the narrow structure, and cantilievers over the slope to create a sunken entrance.
Each side of the structure has a distinct use. Visitors move through the vertical tower and rest on platforms in the leaning tower. The vertical tower is exposed, while the leaning tower’s cladding provides protection.
